Trinity United Church is located in the rural, small-town community of Listowel, Ontario and is in a shared ministry with Atwood United Church.
How We Commit
Our TEAM, at its core, functions around commitment. From our A-V team always showing up on time, to our minister carefully planning out every sermon to be fulfilling for everyone — we commit to our church in every way possible.
The growth of our church depends on the people who are committed to being a part of the “TEAM”. Whether it’s a small or large project, having these committed individuals ensures that we can continue to help our community find their faith.
How We Care
We show care in everything we do; it’s fundamental to our beliefs. Our congregation is intent on rolling up their sleeves and applying attentive care in every single church project, fundraiser, and event.
Trinity encourages one another to spread care and compassion beyond the church walls into the community and even further into the world beyond our local borders. We do this by providing our Sunday School children with the opportunity to aid ongoing, worldwide missions and by conducting Bible studies that help our disciples reflect on issues happening today.
How Christ Is Our Centre
Since all that we do comes from our heart, it’s as Christ commands it. Nothing could get done without Him as our guide - and we speak His Word through action.
We try to challenge our congregation with questions like: what does a life centered around Christ look like today? How can we live by His example in our everyday life? Finding God in everything we do is at the centre of every action in our church.
