 A-V Tech Services

The evolution of our A-V services

In the 1980s, Trinity began providing a professional, top-quality audio system for the spoken word of service facilitators and the music performed by the church choir and musicians. At that time, weekly services were recorded/taped in audio with copies distributed to those who cannot make it to church.

In 2016, the sound system was replaced and expanded to allow for wider audio needs during the services and events throughout the year. At the same time, a video playback system was added using four large screen monitors for the congregation and two front-of-sanctuary monitors so images, announcements, hymns and responsive readings could be seen more easily by the congregation and choir. As well, the ability to insert video programming segments to augment services was made possible.

Our current A-V system

In 2020, the demands of providing a vibrant, meaningful worship service experience - within Covid-19 guidelines - brought the A-V worship team into the hi-tech world in a hurry. Off-site video recording and social media technology sources have kept our congregation connected throughout the weekly worship service. The success of these new challenges and services led to the addition of HD live video streaming for weekly services as they happen. The new video technology allows for sharing significant church events like baptisms, confirmations and funerals.

A dedicated team of volunteers compile the live streaming production each week.

The future promises exciting opportunities as we return to in-person services bringing the congregation together again. The added exposure from the live streaming and video playback access afterwards expands the reach of our church faith community beyond the walls of Trinity!
