Gathering In Faith And Friendship

Worship Services

Starting at 11 a.m. on Sundays, our congregation gathers with people of all ages to connect through worship. The sanctuary is filled with delightful song and music throughout Sunday’s service, where the congregation will join in the singing of hymns with the adult choir — as well as an occasional guest musician, or special appearance of the Junior, or Handbell choir.

When it comes to the dress code, the congregation arrives in a variety of styles. Personal comfort is important, so we encourage you to arrive in what makes you feel best.

  • The sermons engage all of your senses and you’ll be able to follow along on the large TV monitors placed throughout the sanctuary.

The meditations led by our minister are always captivating and thought-provoking, with the message allowing for reflection and prayer that can be taken home and applied to your daily life.

  • We have volunteers who work diligently to enhance our sanctuary depending on the current season, surrounding us with ornaments and decorations that enrich the current festive season.

  • Children of all ages are welcome to attend our Sunday School and Nursery program during the service, where they are looked after and taught biblical lessons through educational classes, games, music and more.

  • Coffee time (along with juice or snacks provided for children!) follows immediately after the service, where everyone can chat and catch up with one another.

Sunday School

The “Theme Conversation” is conducted by our minister during our Sunday service, which involves children in a conversation regarding that sermon’s topic. This helps exercise the kids’ minds and gets them thinking and engaged with the church before they go off and the sermon begins.

Trinity’s Sunday School team works with the Christian Education Committee to provide classes for school-age children. After the “Theme Conversation” during the service, children are invited to gather downstairs for a time of fellowship, stories, crafts, games and more. These classes take place from October-December and February-March.

Children are welcome to attend services during the other times of the year when Sunday School is not scheduled. Colouring sheets and activity pages are provided in the sanctuary.

Thinking On A Global Level

One of our goals is to teach our youth to care for “God’s Creation.” We do so by reaching out to others throughout the world with special projects and missions.

Rosita’s Education

Trinity's youth have helped fund Rosita Maradiaga’s education each month since she was 8 years old in 2017. This mission started as a project with several churches from Nicaragua - and areas nearby - coming together to make it happen. Rosita lives with her mother and brother in Nicaragua and since she was born blind, requires prosthetic eyes and special schooling and equipment. This is an ongoing mission project which has been supported generously by our congregation.

The Mitten Tree

Trinity’s Mitten Tree, a metal tree located outside by our sign, is replenished each week throughout the winter by the Sunday School members. Hats, mitts and scarves (kept in plastic bags) that have been hand-made are donated as part of our mission to help community members in need.

Our TEAM wants to teach our Sunday School children that showing care and compassion matters, and that they can make a big difference in someone’s life by simply providing them with a warm, winter scarf for when it’s cold. We want them to learn that donating out of generosity enriches someone else’s life.

Burrito

After a visit to The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada in Puslinch, Ontario, our Sunday School children expressed a desire to sponsor a donkey - part of caring for God’s creation. Support for Burrito’s care started in 2020 and still continues today.

Nursery

A warm, inviting space with toys and activities is provided for preschool children to keep the little ones cared for while Sunday worship services take place.

The nursery is available by request only, so if you are interested please either contact us directly to arrange care or fill out the form below.
